Inter Act + I-REAL Customer event

Adrie Robbeson

20 Jun 2024

First combined presentation of Inter Act and I-REAL

Customer intimacy and engagement is something that we believe in.  In order to foster this, we decided to organize two regional customer events inviting Inter Act and I-Real customers. In order to allow as many customers as possible to participate and to limit the travel time as much as possible, the locations Apeldoorn and Eindhoven have been chosen.

The customer event was kicked off by Managing Director, Biju Nair. In addition to the new organizational aspects, he discussed the trends in digital water world, climate adaptation needs and our future strategy.

After that, Freek van Balveren provided an overview of the possibilities in the field of Real-Time-Control (RTC) within the H2gO main station. The RTC-theory was supplemented with practical examples.

To show what you can achieve using TeleControlNet Asset data, Remondis was invited to explain their risk-based maintenance solution. By using the TeleControlNet Asset data, they achieve a highly efficient use of their resources, lower load on their breakdown service and therefore a cost reduction for both supplier and customer.

A product overview was presented by Adrie Robbeson showing where the various implementations of the Inter Act TeleControllers are applied. From small to large pumping stations, Inter Act has a suitable solution for every application.

Also the compact battery-powered Smart Level Sensor was presented with an overview of the various realized applications during the last 18 months. With this smart sensor it is easy to monitor your rainwater infiltration system or overflow application.

The integration of the JAZZmin pumping station controller within the H2gO main station was also presented including a live demo.

After the existing product presentation, the future products were presented by Marcel Krabbenborg and Micha Huybrechts.  They put forward their vision on the advantages of NB-IoT communication compared to LoRa. Soon, an intelligent Red Lamp with NB-IoT communication will be available. In addition to the advantages of a larger bandwidth (greater data buffering and/or higher measurement frequency), they also see the remote software update possibilities (FOTA) and global communication coverage as spearheads for applying the NB-IoT technology.

Various developments and roadmap items in the Software domain were also presented.

Artificial intelligence can bring lot insights and benefits for the customer. Mohammed Elakel demonstrated a sneak preview on the possibilities that this technology will bring.

Once again, we would like to thank our valued customers at both locations for their presence. Your interaction during the presentations and valuable feedback afterwards gives us the confidence that we are on the right track with our new developments.
